Summary

This Update Log page is used to track updates in all Ultimate Driving games. Back in 2017 and 2018, updates have been really frequent with TwentyTwoPilots. In 2019, updates started slow down with TTP focused in college. After graduating, updates started to pick up again with new content. As of now, updates are released every weekend with new content. These types of updates don't take a lot of time to make and bring out slight changes/additions, new vehicles, and bug fixes. Updates that take require long time-span, (e.g. Trucking Update, Ultimate Driving Hub, etc.) are planned and worked in a spaced-out schedule. These major updates don't have an exact date for initial release.

Every time the game updates, the core game icons have changed and sometimes new thumbnails get added. Before all the images are angled, the icons were vertical with the vehicles in front and the main logo on top with the two flags. These types of branding logo icons can still be found on UD: Odessa and UD: Delancy Gorge. Since then, the icons have now been changed with the images being in an angled position with a new branding logo in front. Westover Islands text has been removed from the Westover Icons as well, but some UD games such as UD: Currituck and UD: Monroe still have the text to prevent any confusion between the core games. The background images that are GFX rendered are made by Gamefam's artist or @ShrimpsonRBX as the game is now partnered with Gamefam Studios, but all icons/thumbnails are published by Alex.

Ultimate Driving doesn't use the DevForum anymore as Patch Logs made by Alex himself lists all the new stuff and bug fixes. They can be found on the game page or the Official UDCE Discord Server.

v4.0.3.1 (Double Bounty Event/Bug Fixes) Beginning 4/4/2020 and running through the evening of Monday April 6th, all bounty is DOUBLED! Data now saves reliably when you leave the game! Yay! (Data was getting embedded in an extra table on single player save which was confusing the database). Trophy road now reliably rewards cars, and reattempts awarding them if it sees you don't have one but should. YAY! (Likely a symptom of the above issue, but the trophy road wouldn't reattempt awarding cars prior to this patch which didn't help...) Rewrote the data saving system so that rather than relying on comparing current data with last cached data, it determines what data is unsaved by firing some Changed events. This also removed a brief window of time where changes to stats may not necessarily register as changes. TL;DR, the whole system is way more stable and easy to work with for us. Spin progress for races doesn't save if it's being set to 0. (The database doesn't like 0's so I needed to do some voodoo magic on it, not to mention an upstream bug was preventing changes from being registered). Joining a team from the intro menu spawns you in the correct place now. The intro menu shouldn't get ahead of what's loaded and break itself anymore. Added a second anti-scambot check to the dealership, if your chat somehow doesn't initialize after exiting the intro menu then joining the dealership will fix it. If you're in someone else's car and they remove it with the vehicle menu, your HUD no longer gets stuck. (VehicleSeat data wasn't being wiped properly) Fixed trophy road menu displaying the next upcoming event when there are no live events. Made some minor adjustment to timing during vehicle spawning, hopefully it'll stabilize the spawn process a little more. Minor UI visual improvements	4/4/2020
